On Tuesday it was our fish & chip day at school just as I was finishing my lunch a 6.3 earthquake struck. It was the second in 1 year.

My name is Sarah and this is my story about my shaky time. On Tuesday it was very scary. My friends were very scared too. I just wanted to cuddle mum and dad and see my cat Lucy. When I saw Lucy she was hiding under the couch. She is getting better now too

On Tuesday at lunchtime there was another strong, strong earthquake. It felt much bigger than the last big big one. I was inside playing and it went off, like a loud bang. I felt REALLY scared, I hope there’s not another one.
