Georgia, 7, Addington School
On Monday I was at room 5 with Cassie and the ground started to shake. Me and Cassie ran to the court. The teacher said ‘are you ok Georgia and Cassie?’ I said ‘we are ok’ then my mum picked me up from school with Maddison. We were playing Duck, Duck, Goose. When I got home my mum told me the earthquake was 6.3.
Wow Georgia, that must have been scary! I hope you went into the turtle until the shaking stopped!
Wel done Georgia you knew just what to do and when you played Duck Duck Goose with all the children new to school it helped them feel better
