‘I saw people crying and sad’-Sam, 8, Addington School

When the earthquake stuck I was swinging when I saw teachers were all over the place. I landed on the grand and I ran to the centre of the field and made a turtle. Just when I made a turtle a teacher told me to follow him so I did. It was very long and I thought I wasn’t going to be picked up. Then I started to wonder what did other people feel like. I saw people crying and sad. Then my grandfather came to pick me up. He told me where we were going. When we met up with my grandmother it was very long and boring. I had the sound of the helicopters. Then finally we went home. It smelt very interesting when we got home.
