“It’s the end of the world”-Noah, 7, Hillview Christian School
When I was playing on the big kids playground the earth shook. It was an earthquake! I feel over. I ran to the field with all the other children.I couldn’t find my friends so I sat with Jackson.I was a little bit scared and people were screaming ‘it’s the end of the world’. My Dad came and picked me up. He was totally messy with mud! When I came to pick up my brother the whole of the senior side was covered in liquefaction. I got really dirty. The End.
what an amazing story Reuben wants to know how long it was before you had a bath.

Thank you for your report on here, it is good of you to write this up so that we can get a good idea of what it has been like for you.
I am glad you sat with Jackson when you felt scared that would have been helpful, and your teachers would have looked after you well.
It sounds a very dirty day with all the silt that you had to walk through, poor Dad he would have had a big job cleaning up.
We are all thinking of you and hoping things start settling down and you have a chance to sort out things.
Please send my best wishes to your family and friends, take care.
