Acrostic Poem-Robyn, 10

Emergency service rescuers crowding the town,

Another shake rolling by,

Rampaging devastation travels throuoght the city,

Teachers, parents adults assuring children safe and sound,

Help is near for all family and freinds,

Quick continous jolts beneath our feet,

Under ground movements that make us afraid,

Actions of courrage and extreme bravery seen,

Kia kaha Canterbury……

Everyone stand together to re-build this city!!!!

    Robyn, kia kaha!

I am sure you did well throughout this frightening time, now you will indeed stand strong as you are the future of Canterbury.

It will take a while to recover and first there must be a few more tears to wash away some of the pain then the work begins.

Young people like you will be the courageous face of your region and we look to you to lead that future, (with a little help from your friends).

Your writing is lovely and well thought out, your gift must not be lost, keep writing.
I wish you and your family well.
