“The ground shook so violently”-Amos, 13
I was standing outside and suddenly the ground just started shaking. after the earthquake we all had do go line up on the grass. I never want to experience any think like that again. The ground shook so violently. I it was like the world got picked up and thrown and then put back down.

I can understand what you are saying here, you have put it very well indeed.
I really hope you don’t have to experience anything like that again.
As you will be aware there are people all over the world looking in awe at all of you there, amazed at what you have done.
They have seen your strength and courage and have the confidence that you will rise again and be the great ambassadors of Aotearoa, New Zealand that you have shown already.
I hope one day to return to Canterbury to visit and will remember the old fondly but look forward to seeing the new that will be created by people like you Amos.
