‘Rrrunnnn!’-Jamie, Templeton Primary
Me and my friends were walking around the school all of a sudden we felt like we were surfing along the ground only it wasn’t fun it was terrifying! We thought it was only a little aftershock but it got bigger and we realised it was a earthquake. To this day my heart goes to the people of Christchurch who have lost love ones, have no home to go to, power or water and to the people who have no money or food. Kai Kaha Canterbury! (:
Hi Jamie
What a lovely sentiment and I agree with all that you have said. It was a frightening time when the big earthquake came and the devastation was and still is immense.
It must be so hard to be living in some of the condtions that people are in right now. How kind of you to say what you have said here.
We are all in this together and everyone I know is doing something and won’t stop yet, we are all looking forward to getting back there to spend our money and help the economy.
Take care from Ella in Auckland.
