‘My story’-Kendall, 6, Halswell School
When the Earthquake started I was having lunch with my 2 friends in the classroom. My friends where scared but I liked it. We all got under the table, then our teacher came in with room 10 and we all went outside and gathered on the field. Mum turned up to take me home but I wanted to stay at school! In the end I went home with Mum and my little brother Fraser.
