“It was shaking really fast”-Kaitlin, 5, Home school

I was upstairs in my room. It was shaking really fast. I could see everything fall down in my room and I held onto my bed. I felt sad and I had tears down my eyes. My mum and brother were under the archway downstairs, my sister was in the toilet!

Gee whizz you had a shaky old time there! How brave you were holding onto your bed until it was safe to let go.

What a bonus of home school to have your family there and you could all hug as quickly as possible after the shakes had finished.

Well done for writing on here, keep up the good work.

    Thinking of you all there.

Kaitlin you were so brave. When you told me that you told yourself to stay calm, and just breeeath, I couldn’t believe that such a young girl could be that strong. Awesome!!
