Wobbly Week- Ian, 7, Weedons School

At 4.36am last week an earthquake hit Christchurch. It was a 7.1 earthquake. No one was killed luckily. All of our bookshelves fell over except my bookshelf. I was sleeping on the floor. I woke up doing a torpedo. I landed on the floor. I was feeling hungry and tired. We had to go and check the chicken farm. The top shed was screwed. It took 1 week to finish the challenge. It was hard and tiring but we did it. Aftershocks are still hitting Christchurch. Mum said, “Boys, get under the bed.” I rolled under my bed. I was scared when some aftershocks happened.
