“everything went black and everyone was screaming”-Brydie, 8, Burwood School
There was a earthquake on the 22nd February and my class and another class were at QEII when the earthquake struck. I was in the deep pool when everything went black and everyone was screaming. I was the last one out of the water.
When we got outside we stayed together. We got taken back to school in cars.

Thankyou for mentioning about your experience. We have a QEII stadium but it is for Athletics. You must have had a very scary experience. I did not think about pools when the earthquake came on the news. We would like to think you are sleeping well at night and everyone is coping as well as possible. Best wishes from Australia
