When the earthquake happened I was on the playground. It felt like someone shaking the whole world. I stood still then I went down the slide and the pool splashed a lot.
Whenmyhomeshook.co.nz is a website dedicated to helping Canterbury School children overcome the 2011 earthquake by providing a platform where they can openly share their personal earthquake stories and experiences.These stories were turned into a book which was distributed free to all Christchurch libraries and schools. Hosting of the website is covered by oVRcome, a virtual reality app to help people overcome phobias and anxieties.

It sounds like you had a pretty shaky day when the earthquake came. I can imagine it felt like the whole world was at it.
I am sure you had teachers that looked after you well before you could get home. And it would have been interesting in the pool with it splashing about.
