Lindy shouted really loudly to go under the table and I was squished in with my friends.
Lots of water was flooding up from the ground on the path and there was a big volcano on the top and the water came up and dribbled down – it was exploding and it was so cool. It was freezing cold, I wanted to go inside but the light was broken and they couldbt fix it. It was taking so long for mummy to come and get me and I was scared. I had to go with Robin in the car but then she saw my Dad coming down the bumpy road to get me.
In our house everything was smashed and a HUGE bookshelf crashed down and stopped me getting to my bedroom. We went to my cousins and stayed on the floor. My cousin gave me a spiderman toy.

What a kind cousin to share the Spiderman Toy. It must have been pretty amazing to see a volcano with water coming right out the top! Wasn’t it lucky that you and Robin spotted your Dad coming to get you. My son Q and I are very happy to see that you are safe. He said to tell you that he likes Spiderman too. When I told him that we could write to you he wanted to know if we could send you some money to buy water, but then he saw on the news that they were fixing the pipes so that you could get water from your taps again.

I am glad you managed to get under the table and squish together. It was a good safe place to be.
Lots of people get scared when big things happen, it is quite normal.
Mummy and Dad would have been so pleased to see you and I reckon there were a lot of hugs that went around that day!
A spiderman toy is fun to play with, have you had one before? It would be great to see your cousins and play with them for a while.
