“I went down like a turtle”-Cameron, 6, Addington School
When the earthquake hit I was in the playground and I couldn’t stand up. I went down like a turtle. When I saw Marshall I went to tell a teacher he got hurt. We lined up I and I felt safe with my class. After a long time we got cold so we went inside. Then another big earthquake hit. I ducked down and I listened to the teacher. The lights were swinging in the classroom and it wasn¹t safe. I was a turtle under the table and I was holding on. Mrs Mac said it was safe and we had to wait for our parents to come.
Wow!! That is a really descriptive piece of writing. It made me feel like I was really there. You must be so brave to go through that, all the people up in Auckland really feel for you.
Hope your alright
