One night when I was sleeping I woke up screaming and crying. Mum yelled EARTHQUAKE! I jumped out the door! The neighbour came over and Dad was in his undies and the neighbour said, “Go and put some clothes on!” A big shelf had lots of glass things on it and they all fell down and one cup did not break but the rest smashed. Me and Connor were waiting outside and Dad got the car. I hope this never happens again. I felt very scared because I haven’t been in an earthquake before.
