On Saturday morning, it was all quiet until 4.35. 7.1 hit Christchurch ………………….earthquake don’t fart around. Scurry to door and stay until quake is over. Go back to bed. No power for two hours. The next morning check for damage. Damage at my house? First, night storage ripped off wall, pottery and china broken, old T.V. lying on the floor and garage door has had it. There’s a mess on the kitchen floor. Hours of clean up duty. I hate that! For goodness sake! When the water sloshed out of the loo it soaked my socks.
