When my home shook because of the earthquake of course I scrambled back off the side of the bed and hung on tightly. I was terrified. My mind was spinning. I peered with my eyes to try and find the torch that had been on my duchess that had fallen over, but I couldn’t see it was pitch black. After the shaking stopped, I jumped out of bed and ran to Mum. It felt like I was going to burst into tears. I was shaking because I was so scared. When we got out to the lounge I helped pack up the glass. It was weird because all the eggs fell out and cracked but one fell out and didn’t burst open.
