My three boys used to go to your school, Arthur might have been in your class if we were still there because he is 9 years old. We moved out towards Oxford five years ago though. I can picture the school and the back car park and your story gives me a really good idea of how it must have been for you all. Thank you.

I am sorry to hear the earthquake did so much damage to Canterbury, it is very sad.

I am pleased you are safe and able to write on here to tell us of your experience.

And yes, you will never forget the day. In fact you will be able to tell your grandchildren about it, and that’s a long time off!

I hope all are well after the tumultuous time you have had. Many people are thinking of you and really wanting the best for you all.

Take care from Ella in Auckland.

What a long walk to Queenspark you had, no wonder your legs were tired!
I hope that you can all get back to school soon to see all of your friends.
Wishing you and your family well.
Mrs Gibbs
