Your story is very interesting. Being in the swimming pool must have seemed very odd when an earthquake was going on!

Your swimming instructor sounds very sensible and caring to look after you all and then get you out the door safely.

Aren’t the tin foil blankets funny? They are supposed to be very good.

I expect there were some very happy parents who turned up at your school when they saw their lovely children safe and sound.

I do hope things are getting better for you now, thinking of you loads.
